Know Before You Go for Alhambra Tickets
  • Once you leave the Taj Mahal, re-entry is not permitted.
  • Use dustbins and help maintain cleanliness around the site.
  • Hire only authorized guides and photographers who display valid identity cards.
  • No polluting vehicles allowed within a 500-meter radius of the Taj Mahal. Parking is available at Shilpgram for the East Gate and Amrood ka Teela for the West Gate. Battery buses and golf carts are available from the parking areas to the Taj Mahal gates.
  • Drone cameras are strictly prohibited around the Taj Mahal.
  • Both eating and smoking are not allowed inside the Taj Mahal.
  • Mobile phones must be switched off or kept on silent mode.
  • Avoid carrying large bags or books to speed up security checks.
  • No photography allowed inside the main mausoleum.
  • Do not touch or scratch the walls or surfaces, as they are heritage sites requiring special care.
  • Maintain silence inside the mausoleum to respect the sanctity of the site.
  • No mobile phones, video cameras, or extra batteries are allowed for the night viewing of the Taj Mahal. Still cameras are allowed after security checks during night viewing.
  • All visitors must provide valid ID (passport for foreign nationals, other government-issued ID for Indian nationals). PAN cards are not accepted as address proof.
  • The Taj Mahal opens 30 minutes before sunrise and closes 30 minutes before sunset on regular days.
  • The Taj Mahal is closed for general viewing on Fridays.

  • In the event of unforeseen weather conditions, union issues, government restrictions or any other circumstances beyond human control, certain trips or activities may be cancelled. In such cases, alternate feasible options will be provided. However, a cash refund will not be available.
