The American Museum of Natural History, situated on the Upper West Side of Manhattan opposite Central Park, is one of the world’s leading scientific and cultural institutions. Its permanent collections span the natural world, from the towering dinosaur skeletons in the Fossil Halls to the immersive displays of the Rose Center for Earth and Space. Visitors can stand beneath the iconic 94‑foot blue whale, explore the extensive mineral and gemstone galleries, and discover interactive exhibits that bring biology, geology and astronomy to life.
